One day, we stopped dancing in the rain.
We stopped hearing the beat in raindrops, and flutes in the winds.
We lost our rhythm.

R. A. Douglas. A poetess, novelist, and Christian Lifestyle blogger. Writing is a form pf expression and a way of life for me. I am a Christian, though not always a perfect example of one. This blog exposes the cycles of my ever changing life, including the growth and/or changes in my walk with God, and the highs, lows, and fluctuating differences in my reactions and actions towards the typical and atypical experiences that are inevitable in day to day life. I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for reading. Bless.

I still hear the beat and the flutes (actually, maybe the cymbal) but I no longer dance in the rain. That was a long time ago.
A poem with depth. I like it.
That’s a beautiful comment. Music is still inside you. Thank you
